How the work unfolded

This project was developed as a capstone project for Bangkit 2023 Batch 2 by a team of 7 students: 3 in Machine Learning, 2 in Mobile Development, and 2 in Cloud Computing.

• Requirement Analysis & Research: Used a 5 Whys analysis to identify root causes, such as poor career guidance and lack of self-evaluation tools.
• Machine Learning: Built and optimized a neural network model to predict student interests, achieving improved accuracy through architecture refinement and deployed with Flask API.
• Mobile Development: Designed and implemented the mobile application in Android Studio (Kotlin) with a user-friendly UI.
• Cloud Computing: Built backend services using Node.js on Google Cloud Platform, integrated Cloud SQL (MySQL), Cloud Storage, and CI/CD via Cloud Build.
• Collaboration: The team worked cross-functionally across three learning paths, integrating ML, Cloud, and Mobile into one functional application.

The result was a functional application that allows students to take assessment tests, discover their interests, and receive personalized recommendations for college majors.
